The idea of wanting to create a magazine that embraces body positivity and diversity among individuals and communities stems on having the idea that everyone is equal and deserves to be loved as well as have the same opportunities as everyone else. Not many magazines highlight those of a darker complexion or curvier body type and I believe they deserve to be on the same pedestal as everyone else. Everyone is beautiful and unique in their own way, who is someone to say that one individual deserves more spotlight than others.
